Here and there and everywhere

We find ourselves in a blink of normalcy before we’re scattered to the winds again, but it’s all good and happy scatterings! Just over a week ago Brian returned with Gemma. A week from Sunday I’ll be heading to England for a conference. We’re enjoying this in-between time as we rev up for the next disruption. The girls are excited to have some “just Daddy” time, and I’m excited-nervous to go out into the world on my own for a bit. We’d appreciate prayers over both parts. Specifically, pray Brian will find a balance with the girls and that I will stay healthy and travel smartly.

One totally unrelated ray of sun for us has been the arrival of a trampoline gifted to our teammates from their family! What a joy for all the kiddos, and we’re grateful for their willingness to share.

Due to weird flight schedules, I’ll be in Oxford for longer than I need to for the actual conference. A British friend who works here in Madang with her family is on home assignment for a few months, so she’s going to pop over for a day for us to be together! I’m also hoping to connect with my cousin who will be there at the same time. I’m finding all the things I’d like to do and see, but really just hoping in my heart of hearts that I can get some quality time with those two ladies around the conference days. I would appreciate prayers that I could connect with them both. Brian brought back a travel book for me to thumb through, and I have been!

Such a sweet picture of sibling love. Also, continued prayers for you all as you, Hannah, leave them and enjoy your time away as Brian cares for the girls.
