Theoretically, two weeks from Tuesday will be plane day. We’re firmly entering our “in-between” stage. We’re here in the present, but beginning to mentally focus more and more on The Transition. That being said, we’re doing a pretty good job of not being too consumed with to-do lists and school, and instead trying to fully embracing all the things we can with loved ones. We’ve carved pumpkins (Willa was not a fan), played late night ball games with cousins, built forts to sleep in, visited a farm, travelled on the ferry, and we even accomplished a Philadelphia field trip to see American history come alive! Many good memories to sustain us as we head back.

It is bittersweet. We’ve already said two difficult goodbyes, and Willa’s struggling. Pray for her as we continue to enjoy being here while preparing for there. Pray for all of us to not allow impending sorrow to poison the joy of today!
