Big sigh

Annual General Conference (AGM) is done! By many days, actually. I’ve been remiss on updating because we’ve had a distracted week post-AGM. First and foremost, we deeply appreciate the prayers. It was not the easiest meeting for Brian, but we had some enlightening conversations that we trust will help move the Branch along in future leadership transitions. The girls managed the week quite well! They went with us to the office in the mornings and then came home to be with Mama Cissy in the afternoons where they did schoolwork and read quietly outside until I came home. Unfortunately, we immediately dealt with a stomach bug interrupting our attempts to get back to a “normal” week, but we’re hopeful that has passed.

On Sunday, Brian will be heading to Port Moresby with both Ray and Gemma in order to get some government paperwork done for both of them. They have to be sighted for various passport and visa requirements, so next week won’t be normal either! Willa and I will get a very rare two nights just to ourselves while the other two have plane rides, a hotel stay, and restaurants to anticipate.

Prayers appreciated for strength of body and safe travels!

Just before AGM during our last normal week, we did our first Fine Arts Friday where we take time to study music and art. Art (of the painting variety) is a general hole in our homeschool that I’m trying to fill. This was a great start!!

Ray eventually hit the sick stage of not wanting to be alone. She came and joined us for Morning Time, but didn’t last. Fortunately she’s fully better now!!
