Adventuring again
Note: We’ve been having issues with the automated email sent out with this post. The pictures are distorted or nonexistent for some. If that is happening for you, please just pop over to the website! (click HERE)
Brian has been out on survey since Saturday morning. The girls and I are holding down the fort quite well, and we even added a new pet to our household! We’ve named him (or her?) Bombur and I’m not a wild fan. He (or she??) is a gecko about three times the size of one of our normal gecko housemates. Last sighting was my bedroom followed by a pretty wild chase down the hallway and back to the “safe” zone under the fridge. Please stay there or go outside, Bombur. I’d appreciate never seeing you again.
Cell service is in and out and Brian’s trying to conserve his phone’s battery. We’ve gotten a few short texts and these pictures. It’s enough communication to know that he’s having a really wonderful time. Honestly, he’s been acting a bit burned out lately, and I’m feeling so much passion coming through the short texts. I’m thrilled he’s soaking in life IN Papua New Guinea, and getting a break from the the grind of town. Please do pray for safety for him and the team. Two of the guys have some previous injuries flaring up and giving pain. Pray their rest day tomorrow is just what they need physically and spiritually.

Hannah, Brian looks so happy doing what is his specialty. Praying for you and the girls and looking forward to hearing all about his trip.
